Ayurveda Meals

Nature Lanka gives special consideration for meals. Each guest is prescribed a separate menu every day by the Chief Doctor. It depends on three doshas and present health condition or ailments. Strict advice is given to the Kitchen Department on how to prepare meals, eg. kinds of oils, curry powders; even method of cooking - roast, steam, deep fry or shallow fry.
Ayurveda meals act as nutrition as well as a healing therapy against sicknesses. In Ayurveda, meals are not divided as in Western Medicine i.e; protein, fat, and carbohydrate. Instead, they are divided as Rasas, Veeryas, Vipakas, Prabhayas and Gunas.
